Footage licensed by The Film Vault is authorized for use only in the production specified in the license agreement and that one production only.
The footage licensed by The Film Vault is without representation or warranties other than that of title.
All footage is under copyright to us or parties we represent or in the public domain.
The licensee shall be solely responsible for obtaining proper clearances of principal actors and music rights, if any.
Unless you are a regular client, custom screening tapes are on a COD basis. First time customers: 1/2 the expected licensing fee must be paid when ordering clean material.
The balance is due upon completion of the production or 10 days, whichever comes first.
Upon completion of the production, all clean elements ordered from The Film Vault must be returned along with a DVD, 3/4" or Betacam viewing copy of the final production within 10 days of completion.
Shipping charges via FedEx can be charged to clients FedEx account. $8.00 via USPS Priority Mail.
BASIC CHARGES
Our licensing fees are based on the amount of footage used and the rights required.

Minimum cut charge is 10 seconds.
New sliding scale minimum cut charge.
For every cut you order, the minimum cut charge is reduced by one second.
Minimum licensing fee per order is $300.00
SCREENING TAPES
You tell us what thumbnails or subjects you are interested in and we will prepare a custom screening tape for you, usually within 24 hours for only $75.00 for up to 10 cuts.
And that is deducted from your order should you decide to license any footage.
Screening tapes are available in VHS or 3/4 formats with burned in time code. NTSC or PAL.
MASTER TAPES
The client is billed for master video transfers and film laboratory work.

All Betacam SP footage is mastered on Arkival Technologies great new Barium Ferrite tape which represent the ultimate in magnetic recording technology.
Barium Ferrite tape is ideal for the archiving of your videos as it will last well beyond metal particle or metal evaporated tape. BaFe will also deliver an enhanced playback of high frequency signals while being gentler on heads due to its smoother, more orderly geometry.
Many videotape viewers report seeing better chroma in their replays on BaFe media.
If your videos are worth preserving they should be recorded on Arkival Technology's Barium Ferrite products.
